To impact and improve the lives of people through the art of dance

To build a world-class school that provides exceptional and innovative training while working with professional dancers

Ballet is the only dance technique that includes all art expressions in one discipline: music, theatre, painting, dance and even fantasy are present each time a dancer rehearses and/or performs. That is why ballet has been the personal choice and long time passion of my life.

During my entire career, dance has been my main goal. In my day to day I have been polishing and perfecting my personal technique, while trying to accomplish all the difficulties that this discipline requires. When the ballet company, where I had been working for seven consecutive years, here in the USA closed, I decided take a new step within my life-long profession

...Which is to teach and pass my vast experience and knowledge on to others. Teaching this magnificent discipline will allow me to contribute to the society where I am presently living.

Ballet benefits children both physically and psychologically. It requires a high level of concentration to achieve the control of our body while developing flexibility, coordination and rhythm. It helps to control our body, strengthens muscles and, most definitely, helps coordinates our movements. Balletteaches how to work independently and as a part of a team and helps bringing down the stress.

Through Ballet we can express our feelings and emotions, channel the adrenaline while helping keep children in intense physical activity. It may even help keep children far from the addiction of electronic games. Ballet is an excellent tool to overcome shyness and build new relationships. Through ballet, children learn about motivation, perseverance and constancy, ideals of their future life. The practice of ballet teaches children the importance of their own strengths and commitments
...Qualities we will then appreciate in their future, not only in class, presentations and performances but in everyday life, as well.

I think that with my knowledge and personal experience, I will extensively develop the interest and appreciation of ballet in children, teens and adults, and within the community where I live. At the same time, contribute to form better human beings that in the near future will be able to do and go forward with the same ideas and principles as I am trying to do today.

Assembling an exceptional staff, I have planned an incredible curriculum for classes has been well planned for students to excel. Based in the methodology developed by the Escuela Cubana de Ballet (The Cuban Ballet School), and different techniques and styles, the School of Ballet Arts wants to achieve and be identified by our proper and specific style.

Our students train and understand that their body is a precious working instrument, their main way to express themselves. They approach their classes with passion and true sense of discipline.

Students have many performance opportunities in professional-style productions, as well as performing throughout the community. Performing is a very important part of a student's training.

School of Ballet Arts prepares its students for auditions such as entrance into Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and BAK Middle School for the Arts. The School of Ballet Arts can also help prepare students for collage auditions, as well as auditions for dance companies!

"You have to love dancing to stick to it. It gives you nothing back, no manuscripts to store away, no paintings to show on walls and maybe hang in museums, no poems to be printed and sold, nothing but that single fleeting moment when you feel alive. It is not for unsteady souls." Merce Cunningham
